Aloha my friends!
In my recently published YouTube video on anabolic hormone optimization, I discussed how there is a HUGE growth hormone surge that happens at night, right after you fall asleep. It’s when the majority of your growth hormone (aka HGH) is released.
I also discussed a few different ways to further boost the size of that nighttime surge (like taking melatonin, which increases it by a whopping 363%), and the fact that if you get less than 7 hours of sleep… you diminish that surge and even risk completely eliminating it.
HOWEVER, there is one important aspect of that HGH surge that I did NOT cover in the video.
It’s the fact that the nighttime surge is tightly regulated by your circadian rhythm, and will ONLY happen if you’re asleep within 30-60 minutes of the time that you normally go to sleep each night!!
So, if you were to go to sleep an hour and a half or two hours later than you normally do… you will MISS THAT BIG HGH SURGE completely! EVEN IF you still get 7+ hours of sleep that night!!
And that nighttime surge is essential—not just muscle growth and fat loss… but also all tissue repair, brain health, and multiple other aspects of your health. You do NOT want to miss it.
Application: Try to go to sleep within 30 MINUTES of the same time every night in order to ensure you get the large nighttime growth hormone surge!
